Every school day, students and families are stepping into busy streets just to get to class. Walk Safely LV is working to change that by bringing trained volunteers, safety equipment, and community awareness to high-need crosswalks across the valley.

Our Story
Get to Know Us
It started with one mom who finally said, “Enough is enough.”
After too many accidents and tragedies on the crosswalk in front of Arbor View High School, she decided things had to change.
What began as one parent’s determination quickly grew into a movement — parents, students, and neighbors coming together to protect every child on their way to school.
Out of that heartbreak and hope, Walk Safely LV was born — a community united by love, courage, and the belief that one voice can spark real change.
Our Commitment to Safety
Walk Safely LV is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about child safety in crosswalks and organizing volunteer crossing guards. Our mission is to create a safer environment for children. We encourage community involvement by allowing individuals to voice their safety concerns, seek help in arranging crossing guards, and contribute through donations.

Volunteer Crossing Guards
Parents and neighbors come together to protect students where it matters most — in the crosswalk.
We train and equip volunteers with safety gear and support so they can confidently guide students each day.
Community Chapters
From Arbor View to the East Side, our chapters unite local parents to take charge of their own crosswalks.
Each chapter receives training, resources, and guidance to build safer school zones in their neighborhoods.
Safety Advocacy
We work side by side with city leaders to push for improved signage, flashing lights, and safer street designs.
Together, we’re proving that when a community speaks up, change happens.
Education & Awareness
From social media campaigns to school presentations, we remind drivers, parents, and students that safety starts with awareness.
